Semi-Hydroponics™ (AKA “Semi-Hydro™” or just “S/H”) is a unique and simple orchid culture technique we developed as a way of keeping our plants alive while we traveled extensively on business (it’s hard to care for plants when you’re not there – and I averaged 13 flights a week for 3½ years!). It has allowed us to automate our watering when need be, but more importantly, the technique has opened up new understandings about orchid culture.
