So…you bought an RO system from Sam’s Club (“But I thought it was a really good deal…”) and have discovered that it simply doesn’t have the output you need to adequately and conveniently water your plants. What do you do now? Fortunately, most mechanical parts of RO systems are standardized – the filter holders and membrane case – so upgrading system capacity is a simple matter of upgrading the components.
Filter and membrane replacement is a normal part of system maintenance, so you should already be well-versed about how to do that. To upgrade, all you need to do is replace the current membrane and flow restrictor with ones rated for higher capacity (we include the appropriate flow restrictor with every membrane ordered, so there is no need to order it separately). The rest of the filters remain the same.
If you really need more capacity, and a membrane upgrade is insufficient, we can retrofit a second membrane to your system, doubling the capacity.
